Black Anodizing:

Anodizing is an aluminum oxide film that is produced by immersing aluminum in an acid solution and applying electric current to the product. Black anodizing is used for decorative appearance as well as for corrosion and wear resistance for aluminum. Black anodizing on other alloys can form a protective oxide layer as well as remove impurities from the metal substrate.

There are several types of anodizing. Below is a list of anodizing that we perform.

Anodize - colored

Anodize - clear

Anodize - hardcoat

Anodize - teflon hardcoat

Anodize - chromic

Aluminum can be treated where painting or low electrical resistance is required, with a chromate conversion coating. This provides only mild corrosion resistance and excellent paint adhesion, but does not provide abrasion resistance.
